Advertisement No. 08 (Consultant)-(SCMD)/2023/HRD

Join the prestigious Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Standards Body of India, under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India.

Position: Consultant for Standardization Activities

Vacancies: Multiple

Key Responsibilities:

Support technical committees in formulating Indian Standards
Review literature/Standards, collect data, and analyze manufacturing/user base
Conduct field visits, focus group discussions, and analyze information
Assist in drafting/editing standards and examining comments received
Collaborate with government departments, industry associations, and more

Selection Process:

Scrutiny and shortlisting based on qualifications and experience
Technical knowledge assessment, interview, etc.

Tenure: One year (purely on contract)

Remuneration: Rs. 75,000/- per month (consolidated)

Location: Delhi NCR

Age Limit: Maximum 65 years

Leave: 12 days per calendar year

Working Hours: Normal office hours (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM) with flexibility
