Applications are invited from eligible candidates for various project positions of consultants on a purely contractual basis at NIEPVD, Dehradun (Uttarakhand). Applications should reach the Director of the Institute at the above address in the application form. The last date for receipt of the application is on or before 27th January 2024.

1. Lecturer B.ED. SE (DB) (Consultant)

Qualifications:
Essential: Master's Degree with 50% marks with M.ED. SE-HI/MD with 55%
Desirable: Diploma/B.Ed. in Special Education
Fixed remuneration per month: Rs. 45,000/-
Duration: 11 Months

2. Instructor B.ED. SE (DB) (Consultant)

Qualifications:
Essential: B.Ed. in Special Education-MD/HI or B.Ed. in Special Education DB
Desirable: M.Ed. in Special Education (DB)
Fixed remuneration per month: Rs. 28,000/-
Duration: 11 Months

3. Instructor B.ED. SE (MD) (Consultant)

Essential: B.Ed. in special SE-MD/ID/ASD
Desirable: M.Ed. in Special Education – MD/ID/ASD

4. Lecturer Clinical Psychology (Consultant)

Qualifications:
Essential: M.Phil Clinical Psychology
Desirable: Ph.D. in the concerned area
Fixed remuneration per month: Rs. 45,000/-
Duration: 11 Months

5. Lecturer in MA-SW-DSA (Consultant)

No. of Posts: 01
Qualifications:
Essential: M.A. in Social Work with 55% or Equivalent
Desirable: MSW (DSA) or any RCI Recognized Course
Experience: 2 years for candidates not having a desirable qualification; zero years for candidates having a desirable qualification.
Fixed remuneration per month: Rs. 45,000/-
Duration: 11 Months

GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. This engagement will be purely on a temporary basis and only for the specified period. Renewal of engagement is subject to project needs and individual performance.
2. Application(s) should be made on the prescribed form available on the Institute's website www.nivh.gov.in. The application, along with the fee payment receipt, should reach the Director, NIEPVD, 116, Rajpur Road, Dehradun (Uttarakhand) – 248001 (India) within 27th January 2024.
3. Application fee:
   • Rs. 500/- for General, OBC & EWS category.
   • Rs. 250/- for SC/ST category.
   • Persons with Disability (Divyangjan) are exempted from the above fee.
4. Applications must be accompanied by self-attested copies of certificates, degrees, mark sheets, and testimonials.
5. Mere fulfillment of the qualification does not entitle a candidate to be necessarily considered or called for the written test/interview.
6. The NIEPVD reserves the right to:
   • Conduct written/interview and/or skill/trade test for the post wherever the circumstances so warranted.
   • Not to fill any or all the advertised positions.
   • Fill up consequential vacancies including additional posts arising at the time of selection for available candidates by direct recruitment.
   • Reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof.
   • Make any edition/deletion and changes in the terms and conditions given in this notification of recruitment.
   • Increase/Decrease the number of posts without giving any reason. The number of positions is thus open to change.
7. Incomplete applications or those without relevant supporting enclosures (self-attested clear copies of degree/certificates/mark sheets/experience certificate/application fee, caste certificate (if any), etc.) will be rejected outrightly. Experience and qualifications will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of the application form.
8. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum, and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for written/interview.
9. In case a larger number of applications are received, screening will be done to limit the number of candidates to those possessing higher/relevant qualification and experience.
10. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written test/skill/interview/presentation.
11. Applications received after the last due date due to postal delay or any other reason(s) thereof or incomplete in any form or without the application fee shall be summarily rejected.
12. Candidates employed in Government and Semi-Government Organizations, Public sector Undertakings, autonomous bodies of Govt. of India or the State Government must apply through their present employer. In case such candidates anticipate unavoidable delay in forwarding of the applications, such candidates may submit advance copies of their applications, which will be considered provisionally. Candidates will be allowed to appear for the selection process only if the applications are duly forwarded (proper channel) by the employer. NOC & Vigilance Clearance from the employer should also be produced at the time of Certificate Verification and written test/Interview failing which the candidature will be rejected.
13. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates regarding the eligibility, status of the application, postal delays, conduct and result of the test/Interview, reasons for not being called, etc.
14. Applicants must superscribe the envelope with ‘Application for the post of _________.'
15. Canvassing in any form on behalf of any candidate will disqualify such candidate.
16. NIEPVD strives to have a workforce that reflects gender balance, and women candidates are encouraged to apply.
17. In case any mistake in the selection process is detected, the Institute reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidates.
18. The Director, NIEPVD Dehradun reserves the right to fill or not to fill the post(s) without assigning any reason thereof.
